We realize how difficult it can be to buy products like coffee on-line without having the opportunity to sample them first. For that reason, Corazon Coffee Roasters has assembled a group of local coffee and tea lovers, geeks, aficionados and snobs to help evaluate all of our offerings before presenting them to the public. Members of this diverse panel have written bios that are posted in the CCP blog section of our web site. These bios are presented to help those living too far from our Roasting Cafe to sample our offerings locally, providing a better idea of the flavor profiles of the various coffees and teas we offer before purchase. For instance, one member of our panel grew up in Europe and likes his coffee strong and black. Another prefers lighter offerings. Another likes fairly bold offerings but suffers from food allergies, making it difficult to find appropriate coffees for her. One panel member drinks only decaffeinated beverages. (It is not tough to tell when she’s accidentally strayed from that path.)

This group meets regularly to cup and evaluate potential blends, as well as single origin offerings. Suggestions are made and sometimes even incorporated into the program. During these cupping events, notes are taken and compared. Our panel of cuppers are encouraged to post their thoughts and impressions on the various coffees and teas sampled under their bios in the CCP blog.
